How many calls went to voicemail last month?
In many local businesses this is still unknown. If we don't know it, we can't reduce it.
for roofing, hvac, plumbing & electrical
Missed calls, silent forms, quotes that die without follow-up, and ad spend nobody can tie to a booked job. The Revenue Leak Audit identifies where your business leaks money — with evidence — and shows what each gap likely costs you per month.
One recovered job usually pays for it. (Average roof replacement: ~$8,000–$10,000.)
This is a Corriston Consulting, LLC offer and productized as a fixed diagnostic.

The leak strip
In many local businesses this is still unknown. If we don't know it, we can't reduce it.
We test every form as a real lead. Some never arrive, and many replies are slow enough to lose momentum.
Most reporting stops at clicks or leads in a spreadsheet. The question is what turned into booked, paid work.
A frequent leak: one quote request becomes silence unless someone actively chases it.
In our analysis of 88 local service businesses, the most common issue was not the website itself. It was the system around it.
Your website can be fine
Most websites are serviceable. This audit is for the lead path between that website and booked jobs: phone handling, form delivery, follow-up, attribution, and local presence.
What $750 buys
Sample scorecard format with a 0–100 score and 5 weighted pillars from the published rubric.
Service-page route-to-contact checks on the real mobile path: click-to-call, form friction, and trust signals.
Live test submissions against each intake/contact form to verify delivery, routing, notifications, and response timing.
Business-hours and after-hours mystery-shop calls logged for answer time, voicemail behavior, and callback workflow.
GA4/events, call tracking, conversion tags, and measurement health verified with a simple evidence list.
Spend-vs-proof table mapping channels to what can be proved today and where assumptions break.
Lead source reliability, junk ratio, geography fit, and job-type fit compared to your stated business priorities.
Coverage and visibility gap check: where you serve vs where you actually show up in local search presence.
Prioritized fixes by impact and effort, with owners and estimated monthly recovery potential.
A 15–20 page report package plus a 60-minute review call and implementation roadmap are delivered consistently with this structure.

The math
Average local-service jobs are high enough that one recovered missed call, one recovered quote, or one new visible service-area win often exceeds this fixed fee. If the audit finds no meaningful leak, it still delivers a formal validation of what is already working.
Objections
Great — this is not a website redesign pitch. Many businesses are leak-prone even when the site is fine. The audit shows what is fixed around it.
That can be a strength. A leak in response and follow-up makes ad spend more expensive. The audit quantifies what each channel returns, if trackable.
That relationship can stay. This focuses on what happens after click: call handling, forms, follow-up, and measurement quality.
Installed does not equal reliable. We check coverage, page-level behavior, and whether calls are actually traceable to outcomes.
If the result is one recoverable job per month, it is usually paid for quickly in local service work. The product itself is the deliverable: a scored report with evidence.
Roadmap items are tagged by owner and effort. If your score is strong, the recommendation is explicit: maintain or minimal change.
Expected total effort is about 2 hours across 2 weeks: intake, one review call, and report reading.
That may be true in one part of the day. We test business-hours and after-hours response paths, not assumptions.
Often the reported source is not enough for spend decisions. We show what recorded data can prove and where it does not.
You can do some pieces. This gives you objective evidence and a recovery plan before you spend the next marketing dollar.
